Who is responsible for your data?

Privacy Notice applies to the personal data that “Olga Marigold Photography” collects and uses.

I control the ways your personal data are collected and the purposes for which your personal data are used and are therefore the “data controller” for the purposes of the GDPR 2018, UK Data Protection Act 1998 and any other applicable European data protection legislation.

Categories of data I collect

I may collect and process the following categories of information about you:

Your title, name and surname, and your contact details (email address and/or telephone number)
Your photographs (if you give a written permission when signing a model release form).
The communications you exchange with me (for example, your emails, letters, posts and messages on social media directed to me, feedbacks)

How and why I use your personal data

To fulfill contractual obligations and provide my services to you

Loyalty Card is a contract between the photographer and each individual member, so I require your personal data to issue you the loyalty card unique to you, to allow you discount access and enable me to verify your identity when necessary.

To communicate with you and manage my relationship with you.

I may need to contact you by email, phone, letter and/or SMS for administrative, customer service or operational reasons, please be aware that these communications are not made for marketing purposes.

Your opinion is very important to me, so I may send you an email or SMS to seek your feedback.

I will use the communications you exchange with me and the feedback you may provide in order to manage my relationship with you as a customer and to improve my services and experiences for other members.

To personalize and improve your customer experience

I may also collect information on how you use my website, which pages of my website you visit most, in order to understand what you like. I may use this information to tailor the content and offers that you see on my website and to send you relevant messages that I think you might like.

To raise awareness and enable you to share your achievements with others, I post photos and/or videos on social media, of any special events that I organise. Please be aware that if you take part, you may be included in these.

To inform you about news and offers that you may like

As part of my service, I will email you with photography offers that I have negotiated for the Loyalty card members. If you do not wish to receive this additional information, you can; opt out at point of sale, visit the member area and amend your mailing preferences, choose the ‘opt out/unsubscribe’ option present on our email, reply STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE to any email/text contact.

As a previous member, I may contact you up to 24 months after your membership end date, if I have a re- joining offer exclusive to previous members.

If you have not made a purchase from me, I will only contact you via SMS/email/phone/messenger with updates, such as; offers and events IF you have consented to this (with the exception of direct response to a query). You can ‘unconsent’ to contact at any time choosing the ‘opt out/unsubscribe’ option present on my email, reply STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE to any email/text contact.

To improve my services, for administration purposes and to protect my business interests

The business purposes for which I will use your information include accounting, budgeting, billing and audit, credit or other payment card verification, safety, security, statistical and marketing analysis, systems testing, maintenance, ordering of supplies, planning and development.

To comply with any other legal obligations.

Sharing your personal data

Your personal data will not be be shared with other companies, with the exception of art photography (with your written permission).

I am committed to taking appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage to personal data.

You have the ability to change certain information via your online account (such as email and address).
The right to erasure – you have the right to request that I delete personal data that I hold about you.

The right to object to processing – if you would like me to stop processing your personal data, you can do this in a number of ways; you can reply STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE to any email/text contact, you can advise a team member if they call.
